Stumbling

I feel like I’m starting to get the hang of things, social media wise. I have a looooong way to go but at least I know what’s out there. sorta. So have you heard of StumbleUpon? It’s just another way to get your blog out there- kinda similar to “liking” a Facebook fan page or Tweeting.

You can download a toolbar that makes it really easy to click “I like it.” Recently I’ve had a lot of traffic here from other people stumbling my posts. If you’re looking to up your traffic on your blog, this might be the thing for you. You can also follow other people on StumbleUpon.

I found a couple of good posts to help explain it better:
-How to Use StumbleUpon by KludgyMom
-An Addict’s Guide to StumbleUpon on Squidoo
-and there’s a StumbleUpon blog with info on it too.

So, do you get it?
Do you stumble?
Any helpful hints for a newbie?

Mique
Hi- I'm Mique (as in Mickey). I started 30days as an idea file a few years ago. After three years and hundreds of ideas, I now realize that I'll never check them all off my list. When I'm not creating, I love spending time with family and friends and long drives, especially if they end at the beach.

I stumble quite often. I love finding new things and stumble upon does and excellent job of allowing me to tailor my stumbles to things I am interested in. That is actually how I found the food blog, tastespotting.com
