Middle Man

This year in particular it feels like Thanksgiving hasn’t gotten the proper attention it deserves in my home. With the QBM last week, I already brought out the Christmas music (before you freak out, it was a “holiday show” so Christmas music was required). Poor Thanksgiving gets squished in between Halloween and Christmas- it’s the middle man. Watching Throwdown with the Pioneer Woman take on Bobby Flay last night got me excited to cook my turkey dinner and count my blessings next week!

Here are some really fun Thanksgiving ideas:

Thanksgiving banner from At Second Street

Photographing Your Thanksgiving Feast from the Daily Digi

Etched glass Thanks jar from Young House Love

Casserole carrier from 2 little hooligans

Linen Thanksgiving napkins from Purl Bee

Check out one of my favorite Thanksgiving posts from last year.

What about you? Are you ready for Thanksgiving?
Is your Christmas music already playing?

Mique
Hi- I'm Mique (as in Mickey). I started 30days as an idea file a few years ago. After three years and hundreds of ideas, I now realize that I'll never check them all off my list. When I'm not creating, I love spending time with family and friends and long drives, especially if they end at the beach.

I have really tried to have a focus on Thanksgiving this year. It hasn't been great (life is just going a little too fast…), but I like this holiday. It is the one that gets us to sit back and be grateful when sometimes we forget. Loved all these ideas.

I LOVE Thanksgiving and I LOVE Christmas music. I see nothing wrong with combining the 2. It's all quite spirited fun!!!!
