Hi everyone! My name is Cindy and I blog at Skip to my Lou. I blog about handmade gift ideas, sewing, crochet and teacher appreciation ideas. I hope you will come visit me if you are looking for more free printables and fun crafts and activities. I am thrilled to be here sharing a fun holiday craft!
Celebrate the Fourth with these festive pinwheels. Just print, cut and assemble for the perfect holiday decoration!
Download the Fourth of July Pinwheel Printable here, print in color on cardstock. You will need a pencil, thumbtack, hole punch and scissors.
Cut out the pinwheel.
Punch a hole in the center. It helps to lightly fold the pinwheel in half and only punch halfway in.
Punch a hole in each of the four corners.
Place the holes, stacking them one by one onto the thumbtack.
Push the thumbtack into the eraser of the pencil.
Adjust so that the pinwheel does not hit the pencil as it turns.
Now you can spin away!
