Happy Friday! I was blown away with all of the tried and true recipes linked up last week.  I pinned a bunch and will continue to pin and share more.  Today I’m asking you to link up some photography links. So far since the shake up, we’ve linked up:

This week is all about being inspired by photography.  I think a lot of people don’t realize when they first start blogging how much photography plays a part in having a successful blog.  I’m not suggesting that you have to invest in a super expensive camera with all kinds of equipment.  But I am suggesting that you learn about photography and the process in how to take great pictures.   So share some posts that have inspired you and/or your favorite photographers/stylists/etc that admire.

Photography Inspiration Link Up

The rules are simple:
Link up your photography inspired posts.
And then leave a comment for why you linked it up. How have you learned tricks of the trade?  Do you have sites that you frequent to get inspired?  Leave them here!

Here are some of my favorite photography and styling related posts:

I have two friends with new(ish) link ups that are fun.  Stop by Leigh Anne from Your Homebased Mom’s Finding the Pretty & Delicious Link Up  and Mariel from Or So She Says’ Your Great Idea Link Up– both tomorrow!

—–> Up next week:  Readers choice.  It can be whatever you want.  BUT I’d like to hear in the comments what kind of themes you like or would look forward to.  There’s still a whole lot we could cover- organizing, books, music, sewing, paper, home decor, etc….

I linked up a photograph of one of my most favorite memories that we recently created. Photography is a huge part of my blog and the way I journal for my family. The biggest thing photography has taught me is that if I change the way I see things the things I see will change. Using different angles and perspectives make an image much more appealing. I can often be found lying on my stomach in the middle of the road. :)

I linked up one of my very good friend’s photography website. She is an amazing photographer, and has taken so many beautiful pictures of my family. She took my maternity pictures, and has taken pictures of my little girl every year! She inspires me to be in the pictures with my family, and to not worry about what I look like so much! She has an amazing eye!

I linked up a self portrait. As a mom, I have realized, I am rarely in any pictures I take. I often look at the pictures I am in with a very critical eye. For 2013, I have challenged myself to take a self portrait once a month to get comfortable with being in front of the camera and to make sure that, one day, my daughter will have these pictures to look at and remember the times we shared together.
