Today I’m guest posting over at my friend Amy’s blog- the Idea Room. I adore Amy to pieces. I’m excited to be sharing a little something for summer. If you are visiting from the Idea Room, welcome! Get to know a little bit about me, visit my kids ideas, printables and recipes.
Make sure you visit the Idea Room to know what a summer can is all about. I’m going to show you how I printed the vinyl and then share a little summer printable with you. Sound good? Ok….. let’s get started! Note: each printer is different and has various settings. Test out your printer’s settings to see what works best for you.
Using a standard 8.5×11″ piece of paper as a guide, cut a sheet of plain white vinyl. Tape (I used Duct tape) the vinyl sheet to a piece cardstock for sturdiness.
Download the Always Summer pringles can printable. Send the taped vinyl sheet through the printer. I used a blow dryer to help dry the ink on the vinyl. You could also add a clear sheet of contact paper over the printed vinyl to seal it.
Line up the vinyl on one side of a Pringles can and smooth the vinyl down as you go.
Until you have a cute little summer can:
You can print on all kinds of things. I’ve printed on lunch bags, gift bags and fabric.

If printing on vinyl isn’t your thing, I created an 8×10 printable quote as well:

And a big Happy Birthday to my Mom today!! I wanted to create something beach related for today because all my favorite memories are at the beach with you. I love you so much Mom.
