Ingredients

  • 1 ½ c unsalted butter softened
  • 1 c sugar
  • 3 c flour
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1 ½ c jelly (or jam/preserves of your choice)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  • Beat butter until creamy.
  • Add sugar.
  • Add flour until crumbly.
  • Spread ⅔ of mix into bottom of jelly roll or pan.
  • Spread layer of jelly/jam over first layer.
  • Sprinkle remaining mix over the top.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes.
  • Let cool.
  • Serve a la mode.
