Frosted Mexican Brownies

Ingredients

  • 18.4 oz fudge brownie mix (and accompanying ingredients)
  • 6 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips (1 c)
  • 1 tbsp McCormick® Pure Vanilla Extract
  • 1 tsp McCormick® Cinnamon Ground

Frosting:

  • 1 ½ c marshmallow fluff
  • 1 ¼ c shortening
  • 1 c powdered sugar
  • 1 tbsp McCormick® Pure Vanilla Extract
  • McCormick® Cinnamon Ground for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  • Prepare brownie mix as directed on package.
  • Stir in chocolate chips, vanilla, and cinnamon. Spread in greased 13x9-inch baking pan.
  • Bake and cool as directed on package.

Frosting:

  • In a large mixing bowl, beat together the marshmallow fluff and shortening until smooth and fluffy.
  • Slowly beat in powdered sugar and vanilla.
  • Beat until fluffy, another 2-3 minutes.
  • Spread onto cooled bars. Sprinkle with cinnamon (optional).
