Ingredients

  • 2 lbs red potatoes washed and cut into cubes
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • ½ c sour cream
  • ¼ c heavy cream (milk can be substituted as well - I prefer cream)
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper

Instructions

  • Grease slow cooker with butter or cooking spray.
  • Add chopped potatoes and cook on high for 3 hours on low or 6 hours (time may vary depending on type of slow cooker).
  • After potatoes are cooked (should be able to smash them with your fork easily), add in butter, sour cream, cream, garlic, salt and pepper.
  • Use a hand mixer to mash potatoes and other ingredients.
