Ingredients

FOR THE BATTER:

  • ¾ c sugar
  • ¼ c butter
  • 1 egg
  • ½ c milk
  • 2 c flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 2 c berry blend (I used the frozen triple berry blend from Costco but you can use any frozen or fresh berries you have on hand)

FOR THE TOPPING:

  • ½ c sugar
  • c sifted flour
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • ¼ c butter softened

Instructions

  • Mix together the sugar, butter, and egg.
  • Stir in the milk.
  • Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients and stir well.
  • Toss the berries with a little bit of flour and add them to the batter.
  • Place the batter in a greased and floured 9x9 pan.
  • Combine the topping ingredients and sprinkle over the batter.
  • Bake at 375 for 45 to 50 minutes.
