Ingredients

  • 14.1 oz Pie crust dough (don’t get the shells, get the actual dough)
  • 21 oz Pie filling (I used strawberry but you can use whatever flavor you want)
  • 1 Egg (for an egg wash)

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  • Roll out the dough and cut it into circles (I used a bowl to cut my circles).
  • Put the circles of dough into the crevices of a mini muffin tin (just like when you do it on a normal pie).
  • Fill with some of the pie filling.
  • Put a top layer of crust on top of filled pies.
  • Whisk the egg to create an egg wash; brush it onto the tops of the pies.
  • Bake for 10-15 minutes.
  • Allow to cool and enjoy!

Notes

* You can also use a normal sized muffin tin - just bake for 20-30 minutes.
* This makes 24 mini muffin tin sized pies or 12 normal muffin tin sized pies.
