The holidays are just around the corner (36 days until Christmas to be exact!) and the cooking is going to be in full force starting this week. Every year I love drinking caramel apple cider and wassail. This year I added a new holiday drink to the list: Very Cherry Smoothie.
There are only a few ingredients and I love how refreshing this drink is. While it might be snowing around the country, it’s been 90+ degrees off and on in my neck of the woods and this smoothie hit the spot.

I think next time around I might add a little bit of almond extract to this recipe just to see what it tastes like.
- 1 cup Silk Vanilla soy, almond or coconutmilk (I used Vanilla Almond)
- ¼ cup freshly squeezed orange juice
- 1 cup fresh or frozen sweet cherries (I used frozen)
- 1 Tbsp honey or agave (I used honey)
- 1 cup ice
- Combine all ingredients in a blender and process until smooth.
My trusty six year old cooking assistant and I both gave it two thumbs up!
