On Facebook I recently asked if people were going to decorate for St. Patrick’s day and Easter or just spring in general. This year the holidays are so close together so I’m going to spend my energy on making my house more focused on spring than try to get it all done in under two weeks. Because I might still have my Valentine’s day decor up….and it’s now well over two weeks. Shhhhhh…..
I spent some time trying to find ideas that would make my house cheery and colorful. Here’s what I found:

I am one of those people who doesn’t decorate for any holiday except Christmas. Its just too much. Every time I look up its another holiday rolling around, but I do decorate for the seasons. I love the ideas you posted for spring, so cute and makes me want spring to just hurry up already. I just love the colorful doormat from Lowes.
I think that’s smart Darnetha. Especially when they are so close together like they are this year- makes it tricky! I love that doormat too. Super fun!
That shade of green in the larkspur picture is the same color I just painted my guest bathroom. I love it and it really brightens it up in there.
Ohhhh good to know Tanya!! I’m always on the hunt for the perfect colors. Thanks for the comment!
Mique, thank you for the LOVELY inspiration! I am loving that boot tray and all the flowers!
Oh I love some of the things I’m seeing for spring. I just finished this Moss covered letter for my front door, check it out:

Hi! I’ve never been on your website before, but i just LOVE your spring decorating ideas! I picked up a bunch of paint chips a couple weeks ago and now I know what to do with them. I’m going to go out right away and buy a butterfly punch and a wreath form to cover with some spring fabric. I discovered your site from pinterest, from your laundry signs, which I would like to print out for my daughter to hang in her laundry room. They suit her perfectly! LOL Thank you!
