A Month’s Worth of After School Snacks

We’ve been back in school for almost a month now.  My kids have great teachers and are having an awesome year so far.  There is one guarantee every day when they get home from school.  They are famished!  They raid the pantry and fridge like they haven’t eaten in 4 years every day.    Anyone else have this problem?  I gathered some delicious looking after school snacks to share with you.  Some are make ahead, some you can make with your kids (because KIDS CAN COOK!) and some are on the spot.  A little something for everyone.

Over a month's worth of after school snack ideas from thiirtyhandmadedays.com

Mique
Hi- I'm Mique (as in Mickey). I started 30days as an idea file a few years ago. After three years and hundreds of ideas, I now realize that I'll never check them all off my list. When I'm not creating, I love spending time with family and friends and long drives, especially if they end at the beach.

Wow great ideas! We homeschool, but I’m always looking for new healthy snacks to have during the afternoon! I think my fav was the banana hotdog lol, never would have thought of that one!

Love these. We get frozen berries and add a tablespoon of yoghurt and blend – healthy and so yummy – like ice-cream.

Wow, some of these recipes will come in handy for my daughter! She’s in Pre-K and parents are asked to supply snacks for the whole class at least 1 day a month (sometimes 2 days). Thanks for the idea’s on simple, healthy snacks I can make send with her to share!
