Almost 20 years ago (yikes!) I left home for college. I didn’t know how to cook so I survived on pasta and baked potatoes. Healthy right? That changed when Josh and I got married and I dove into some of my favorite recipes that my Mom made throughout my childhood. One of the recipes I loved was this one- Chicken Drumettes. With only 4 ingredients, this is so easy to make but it is a crowd pleaser.
You can either make it by throwing everything together and baking it. Or you can use your slow cooker! Either way, this tastes great and takes little work.
Kraft Catalina salad dressing gives it a little zing and marries perfectly with apricot (or orange) marmalade. I’ve made it with Russian dressing as well.
4 Ingredient Chicken Drumettes
Ingredients
- 1 oz French onion soup mix
- 1 c apricot marmalade
- 1 c Kraft Catalina salad dressing
- 2 lb chicken drumettes
Instructions
- Put drumettes in a casserole dish.
- Mix other ingredients and pour over drumettes.
- Bake at 325F for 1 ½ hours.

Albertson’s encouraged me to put a twist on a recipe. I like that this isn’t the standard chicken recipe. Drumettes make it a little more fun and messy. No fork and knife are required for this one. Make sure to visit the Pin that Twist board for more recipe inspiration!

Don’t they look so good? You just want to dig in and get your hands dirty! Warning – these drumettes are saucy and messy so finger licking is a must.
Serve these drumettes with some fruit, a salad and easy to make garlic rolls. This meal is great for spring and summer because it’s fresh and delicious. Though I’d eat it year round. Enjoy!
