I keep thinking life will slow down. But it just DOESN’T.  I mistakenly thought as my kids grew up things would calm down.  Ha! Anyone who has raised older kids is laughing at that sentence.  Am I right?  Things move in warp speed and it’s hard to keep up.  Our eating habits have gone downhill as we try to manage it all.  But I really want to change that.  I’ve been researching more and more about how to get on top of things.  The only answers I have are make ahead meals, freezer meals and crockpots.  Check out the posts that I have found most helpful in my freezer meal hunt:

How to start freezer cooking & why I changed my mind about it:
Jessi, our resident budget guru talks about why and how she talked freezer cooking.  She was super hesitant, feeling like she didn’t have the time to do it.  But she changed her mind! Read why.

And I shared this post on my FB page the other day of hers — 31 Crockpot Freezer Meals for Back to School — it’s going crazy over there!!
If you’re looking to jump into freezer meals or if you are an old pro, tackle this list.  It’ll help you get a jump on the whole back to school chaos.   You can see all of her freezer meal stuff here.
