My Gift Up Close

A few of my favorite things giveaway from

For my giveaway I wanted it to be something that I use every single day.  Something that maybe other people would like and find useful.  If all else fails, there’s a gift card so you can go buy what you want!!  (affiliate links are used below)

  1.  Laminator  – read Why I love my laminator so much!
  2. Batiste Dry Shampoo – I have searched high and low for good dry shampoo.  It’s hard to find for dark hair.  The winner can let me know what kind they would prefer. :)
  3. The Rosie Project – a quick, fun read.  One of the books that I loved reading this year.
  4. Mr. Sketch Scented Markers – these markers just make me smile.
  5. $50 Amazon Gift Card – because I use Amazon a lot.  You can sign up for Amazon Prime –  Start Free Trial Now
(totally worth the fee in my mind – it pays for itself a whole bunch of times over)
  6. Cookie scoop – what I use over and over for baking cookies.  Read my 5 Top Tips for Perfect Cookies every time!

And here are some ideas that didn’t make the cut but that would be awesome.  A practical holiday gift guide if you will:

Practical Holiday Gift Guide- practical gift ideas that everyone will love!

  • A good printer – this is the one that I use.  I have had several but have found HP to be the easiest/most user friendly.
  • Portable Phone Charger – this comes in especially handy when traveling.
  • A 2015 planner –  there are so many cute options.  I love this Kate Spade version.
  • favorite board game –  give the gift of quality time with some fun board games.
  • Cute binders – get a binder (or 2 or ten) and download some of my binder printables.
  • Sharpies –  you can never have too many Sharpies in my opinion.  Awesome stocking stuffer.

Don’t forget to “hop” to each blog above to enter their giveaways, too!

  1. Curious says

So I’ve been checking a lot of the 30 blogs almost daily, and half of them have never posted a winner…any idea when that might happen?

  2. says

When used as insulation material, it is harmless not
merely to the home occupants but to the installer as well.
Insulation is the best shield against cold weather.
This grant scheme is a good start, but will not cover the homeowner, on a
small budget, who wants to do only part of the things needed at a time.

  3. Colleen says

Hi, I am new to your blog. It looks like you have many AMAZING ideas. I can’t wait to check them out. Great giveaway too :-)

  4. Amanda Erlendson says

Love your ideas! 6.5 months pregnant and this would be a fabulous prize to win. Thank you for do I ng this giveaway! ♡

  5. Maribel Romero says

It barely let me comment took me 3 hours but would love a chance to use this for crafts Ruth mykids

  6. Linda Meyers-Gabbard says

Just last week my husband said we needed a laminator. Strange the way things happen sometimes. I do thank you for the opportunity.

  7. Stephanie Maberry says

My pre-teen daughter has become an excellent baker, the cookie scoop and cookie tips would be an excellent gift under the Christmas tree.
Yes, you are correct- never enough SHARPIES!! A Laminator would be a huge help with my disability advocacy work and speaking engagements.
Thank you for this generous opportunity! I’m so glad that TidyMom sent me to your site, I look forward to exploring it in further detail.

  8. says

An impressive share! I have just forwarded this onto a co-worker who was conducting a
little homework on this. And he in fact ordered me breakfast due to
the fact that I stumbled upon it for him…

lol. So allow me to reword this…. Thanks for the meal!!
But yeah, thanks for spending some time to discuss this issue here on your internet

  9. says

But as you look out of the window and you see snowdrifts for much of the winter, and
summers so chilly your barbecue stays in the shed, it’s easy to dismiss the idea
of global warming, and with it any feelings that you
might in some way be contributing towards it. But research
carried out by the National Insulation Association suggests that
the majority of people are unaware that 60% of heat produced by a
heating system is lost through poorly insulated roofs and cavity walls.
Try to only boil what you need – making sure you cover the heating element of
course, and you should start to see savings.

  10. Susan Patterson says
