So Thanksgiving is this week. Crrrrraaaaaaaazy. I try to get my Christmas cards sent out right after but not sure it’s going to happen that quickly this year. I thought it might be fun to make a few photo card templates for you so that you have one less thing to do around the holidays. All you have to do is download, add your picture(s) and name and then send it off to the printers. So let’s do this:
First a few things you’ll need –
- some favorite pictures of your family
- Photoshop, Photoshop elements or another editing program – if you don’t have them, you can download a free trial
- some free fonts (listed below)
- If you are unsure of how to use templates to add in your images and customize, you can follow this How to use clipping masks tutorial.
- Please note – these are for personal use only. Thank you!
Instagram is my happy place. So I created one card around with 12 images from Instagram in mind. You can use whatever you want in the image spots but I grabbed mine from there. Then family and friends can really get a feel for what our year has been like. To create this card, download the template. Then layer each image over the correct spot and create a clipping mask. Refer to the template tutorial listed above if you are having issues. Then click on the “your text here” layer and fill in your family name. The font I used for this card is Petit Formal Script.
This card design is simple but bright. To create this card, download the template. Then layer your image over the rectangle and create a clipping mask. Refer to the template tutorial listed above if you are having issues. Then click on the “your text here” layer and fill in your family name. The font I used for this card is KG the Fighter.
Can you tell I like these colors? To create this card, download the template. Then layer your image over the rectangle and create a clipping mask. Refer to the template tutorial listed above if you are having issues. Then click on the “your text here” layer and fill in your family name. The font I used for this card is tramlib. Note it is all lower case, there is no option for upper case.
I created a Printable Christmas List to download:
And if you like fonts as much as I do, you might like my fonts category where I share the ones I use and love the most.
Beautiful family!
I had the same problem with the download links – they are all the same one.
Sorry about that! I got it fixed. Thanks!
love these but the download links are all for the same template
Sorry about that! All fixed.
