I think my word for the year chose me. Or maybe I stole it. Probably a little bit of both. But either way- BRAVE it is. My sister set the precedence with giving her cute baby boy the middle name of Brave early last year. Little did we know how much it would mean to all of us. And so… my family kind of adopted it as our word as we banded together with my Dad before he passed away from cancer. As I’ve mentioned here, nothing could have have prepared me for losing him. He was everything to me. I feel like my spirit was really tested and continues to be as I grieve.
But. I’m ready to put on my big girl panties and tackle this year head on. With bravery.
Today I’m over at Your Homebased Mom sharing a quote to go along with Leigh Anne’s word(s) for the year. I thought it’d be fun to take my word and create some quotes with it here:

When I recently asked what you wanted to see more of in 2014, there were a few things that stood out- more easy recipes and inspirational quotes. I’m happy to do both of those! I hope you leave 30days feeling uplifted and inspired.
You can also download this brave quote from one of my favorite Sara Baraeilles songs:

Thank you for sharing these. Actually, Thank You for sharing all the things that you do. I love your site. I am so sorry for your loss. I can relate.
