Hard to believe that it’s been a year since I shared my kids New Year Resolutions printable. Sadly my daughter didn’t learn a lot of German or how to make furniture. Poor girl! But we’ve still managed to fill 2012 with memories and lessons we will bring into 2013.
I finally created an updated 2013 version. Just like last year, print it and have your kids fill out what they learned this year and what they hope to do next year. It only takes a few minutes but you can keep it forever. One of those Mom book type of things, ya know?

Again, my Julia is never short on surprises. This year she wants to learn to figure skate…. (can’t say I blame her- I took a figure skating class in college for PE credit and loved it!)

But aiming for straight A’s is always a good goal in my book. I’m excited to make my own list of New Year Resolutions. Mine won’t include straight A’s or figure skating but I have plenty to set and work on. I will have an updated version for you soon too!

Thank you for sharing and creating this – my girls did it last year and were wondering if I had it again!
Happy New Year!
You’re so welcome Debbie! I loved looking at my kids from last year. I had a friend say that her grandma collected a book of all the grandkids over the years and now they all get to look back on them 30+ years later. How cool is that? Happy New Year to you!
As always, wonderful!! Thank you so much for sharing this. It will be neat to see my kiddos answers change throughout the years.
You’re welcome Sarah! As I mentioned in another reply- I have a friend whose Grandma collected a similar sheet from all her grandkids. She made a book that they all still look at 30+ years later. SO fun! Happy New Year to you!
LOVE this, Mique! and will be so fun to look back on through the years. very sentimental.
xoxo
HAPPY NEW YEAR!

What a wonderful idea! I always loved traditions that allowed us to look back on our now-adult children’s views when they were little. Thanks for generously sharing your awesome printable! I featured your printable as the Free Printable of the Day at the Living Montessori Now Facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/LivingMontessoriNow

Hi Chris- thanks for asking my permission. You can post one image and a link to direct your readers here. Thanks so much!
Thank you for the printable. My girls are 4 and 6– so they may be a little young to do this, but we’ll try and see. It’ll be fun to keep and look at in the future, and is good for kids to think a little bit about the future!
I think I already issued an invite to you Mique so please forgive me if this is a duplicate…but I love this idea and if you have not already linked up I would love it if you would!
Please come and link up your party with the New Year Linky Party I am hosting at http://teachingisagift.blogspot.ca/2012/12/2013-new-year-linky-party.html. There are almost 100 TPT authors and teacher bloggers joining together to ring in the New Year and I would love to have you join us!
Thanks for the printable! My daughter and I used last year’s version & I was happy to see a new one! Happy 2013!
This is great!!! Found it at Lolly Jane;)
This is awesome thanks for sharing. I asked the kids to write down 12 of their favourite things/memories/what they did in 2012 as a glimpse of what they thought. It was really cute to see what they liked. Karen
LOVE this! Thank you for sharing it! We’re all going to sit down and do this tonight! Happy New Year!
Thank you so much! I loved it last year and I’m doing it again this year!
Hi Christina- you are so welcome. Happy New Year!
I do not even know how I ended up here, but I thought this post was good.
I do not know who you are but definitely you are going
to a famous blogger if you are not already ;) Cheers!
Hi, Mique! I’m Marie and I teach English to Japanese junior and high school students in Tokyo. I found your worksheet on google and used it in my class. My students loved it!!
Thank you very much for the inspiring worksheet;-)
Marie- this comment just made my day. Thanks so much for sharing with me! I’m glad that your students had fun filling out the worksheet. What an awesome thing to know that students on the other side of the world were doing resolutions with my printable. Thank you!! Hope you’ll visit 30days again soon.
Good information. Lucky me I discovered your blog
by chance (stumbleupon). I have book-marked it for later!
