In addition to my love affair with my rice cooker, I am loving my slow cooker.   Anything that I can do ahead of time on a busy day is a win in my book.  I found the easiest macaroni and cheese recipe that tastes great.  Yes!

This recipe only has four ingredients and is pretty much the easiest thing evvvvvver.  The other recipes I found had evaporated milk or processed cheese.  Not this one.  Just things you probably already have in your pantry and fridge.

In order for it reach the creamy texture, you need to stir it every once in awhile.  But that takes about five seconds.  This is perfect for a day that you have a lot to do around the house but don’t want to spend an hour in the kitchen to make dinner.

So it is unclear to me if for the Zesty Chicken, do you make the zesty dressing into the liquid form or do you just put the seasoning packet into the crockpot? I think I made it last time just sprinkling the packet on. This time I will make it up and pour it in. What did you do?

I’ve never thought to make mac and cheese in the slow cooker. Great idea for the summer when I don’t like to run my oven. Plus, there’s cream cheese and that’s always fine by me :)

I have been looking for a slow cooker mac and cheese recipe that 1. I don’t have to cook the pasta before hand and 2. used real cheese, because, like you said, I always have that in my fridge!

This looks delish! How many does this recipe serve? What size crock pot do you use? I am considering making it for a large group…do you think it’d still work well in a larger portion? Thanks :)
