Download the Fourth of July Pinwheel Printable here, print in color on cardstock. You will need a pencil, thumbtack, hole punch and scissors. This project is as easy as 1-2-3. Your kids will have fun putting them together with you and then spinning away!

Cut out the printable.
Punch a hole in the center. It helps to lightly fold in half and only punch halfway in.
Punch a hole in each of the four corners.
Place the holes, stacking them one by one onto the thumbtack.
Push the thumbtack into the eraser of the pencil.
Adjust so that it does not hit the pencil as it turns.
Now you can spin away!

I used a small trim nail to nail the pinwheel to the pencil. Made it stay on such longer. Great post. Thanks
