It’s 4 o’clock and you’ve got nothing ready for dinner.. sound familiar? Use this meal planning template to help plan out each week!
Anyone else in a dinner planning rut? Just me? Things are about to change around here. And in an effort to get motivated, I created a little meal plan printable. It’s straight forward and simple. Fail proof. Let’s hope.
I wanted something I could just write on so I created one that could be printed every week. OR you could laminate it and use dry erase markers to change it every week. Because you know how obsessed I am with my laminator. Add a magnet and stick it on your fridge. Call it good.
There are two different color options – if you like bright colors more or pastel colors. It’s your pick!

Hi Mique,
I love these templates, hope you don’t mind if i pin this page. I have been using meal plans for ages and have found as a result in general both my family and I are eating much healthier foods. Your color coding if fabulous, really well done.
Kind Regards Linda.

What program do you use to design your printables? I really like some of the fonts.

thats brilliant. I will print it out and laminate it.
A useful and nice accessoir for my kitchen. Helps to organize my day – like many other printables.

I wanted to say THANK YOU so much for sharing this printable! This is exactly what I have been looking for. I plan to laminate and use a dry erase marker. A new year = new routines and I want meal planning to be one of them!! Thanks again for sharing so freely!

This is really cute! I love anything that makes meal planning easier, or at least more fun. :)
Mique says
Thanks Kimberly- I do too. Hopefully it will help around here. I love having a “game plan.” ;)

Thanks for the printable! Looks so much cuter and brighter than my dull white one. With sports and therapies happening weekly I’ve been using the ol Crockpot more. Adobo chicken, lasagna, and even cobblers!

Maybe I’m just anal retentive, but I got sick of planning dinners long ago so I made a repeating monthly meal plan. I printed all the recipes (with side dishes to go with the meal on the same page) and put them in a binder. I separated them with page dividers every seven days and put a grocery list at the beginning of each week based on what we’d be eating that week. I also made sure to include a leftover night each week (to give myself a break!) and tried to put meals that go well together on the same week. (For example, we have turkey burgers with homemade potato wedges and we also eat potato wedges with bbq chicken, so we eat the turkey burgers and bbq chicken on the same week so that I can just make extra potato wedges and reheat them for the second dinner). It’s really made it so simple to plan for dinner each week. I just whip out the binder and it’s done! And since it has four weeks in it we don’t get tired of the same routine.

You could also put this in a picture frame and use a dry erase marker to write on the glass…would save on printing a new one every week and give some “flare” to your kitchen! :)
