It’s that time again- another Funner in the Summer post from an awesome friend. Today’s idea comes from the fabulous Kristyn of Lil’ Luna. She is awwwwwwwesome. Gosh I just love her!! And this cute project makes me kiddy. Spend some time with your kids making something fun and turn it into a gift.

With it being summertime and all, and living in AZ, the kiddos and I have been getting creative on activities we can do inside. One of the things we have done is made Homemade Gak.
My kids love GAK!!
They have had so much fun the last few weeks whipping up a batch and playing with it for hours on end. As I already mentioned when I first posted about it, GAK has been the best and cheapest entertainment for the kiddos. They’re happy, I’m happy – it’s definitely a WIN-WIN situation!!
Seeing how popular this has been with my kids and cousins, I thought it would be fun to put together a cute Gak Gift (and no – not a GAG gift!) to give out to friends for birthdays, special occasions or even “just because”.
And not only is this cute, but it’s cheap!!! BONUS!!
And easy!
SUPPLIES:
- Gift Container – I got mine in the dollar section at Target
- 2 bottles of Elmer’s Glue
- Container for Gak
- 1 tsp. Borax
- Food Coloring
- Gak Prints
DIRECTIONS:
1. Pick out your containers (one to put everything in and one the gak will go on). Bought both of mine at the Target Dollar Section.
{Available in Red/Blue, Red/Orange, Red/Purple, Red/Gray}
2. Print and Save the prints by clicking on the image above.
3. Glue or tape “For a GOO’D Time” Print on the front. Hole punch the Gak Recipe print to the side.
4. Put in your Gak Ingredients and Voila – super cute, easy and cheap gift idea!!
And what’s great is this is really a perfect gift all year round!
