For the holidays, make this snowman mason jar hot cocoa gift for family and friends!
I’m Randi from Dukes and Duchesses and I have a simple craft to share with you: snowman mason jars that are perfect for holding hot cocoa mix. And the best part? You can whip up a pile of them in no time and deliver a treat to the whole neighborhood!
To make them, start with any size mason jar and spray paint the outside with white paint.
Use fine sandpaper to rough them up a bit {I like everything distressed}.
Hot glue a black hat onto the lid. At this time of year, you can find little felt hats at craft stores but if you can’t find one, you could always cut the bottom from a plastic cup, spray paint it black, and add a paper rim.
Make a face with two black button eyes and a triangle cut from orange paper and hot glue the pieces to the front of the jar.
Add a fabric scarf {I cut this one from an old sweater} and two or three more buttons and you’re done. Fill it up with storebought hot cocoa or my favorite hot chocolate recipe.
So easy and your friends and neighbors will love them!
