Whip up this easy to make Chicken Noodle Casserole for a quick dinner for your family!
By now you know that I’m all about the easy dinner recipes. I’ve tried to make fancy meals a few times over the twenty plus years that I’ve made dinners for my family. The truth is, they prefer the down home, easy recipes way more than the stuff that takes a ton of time.
Chicken and Noodle Casserole
This Chicken Noodle Casserole recipe is one of those easy to make, down home, comfort food kind of meals. Serve it up with a salad and some vegetables.
There’s not much “cooking” involved. It’s a little of this, that and mix here and there, throw in the oven and ta-da! It would be a great go to meal for new cooks and college students. Here’s how to make it:
- Cook chicken and cut up. When I’m really on top of my game, I pre-make chicken in a crockpot.
- Break spaghetti in half, cook and drain.
- Grease bottom of 9×13 casserole dish.
- Put noodles at bottom of pan.
- Spread cubed chicken over the noodles.
- Combine soup, broth, water.
- Pour mix over chicken.
- Add shredded cheese (more can be used if you like) and top with crushed crackers.

Instead of using a 9 x 13 pan, put it in two 9 x 9 pans and freeze one for a future meal
