January is the worst mail month ever! All those pretty Christmas cards stop coming in and it’s just bills, bills, bills. The other day I received a package that made brightened up my mailbox from my favorite paint brush toting friend. It was a Valentines sign from Kristi of Barn Owl Primitives. And I fell in love immediately! (actually I fell in love when I saw it online and then flipped when I got it in real life)
I took it out of the box and set it up with a few other Valentine things on my mantel. I have to hand it to you DIY bloggers out there- it was no easy task taking pictures in my family room. These questionable pics were the best I could do.

My birth name is Sunshine so naturally the “You are my Sunshine” sign is my favorite.
My favorite is the porch rules sign. I love fall and it makes me think of fall. I also love the reading sign, which is fairly new. As a teacher, I think it is a colorful way to attract them to the idea of reading. :)
