Another recipe for my newest love – the air fryer. Have you noticed that I’ve been using it a lot lately? It’s been fun trying recipes like these pork chops.
If you’re looking into getting an air fryer, here are the pros and cons –
Pros:
- Heats food quickly
- Gives the perfect crisp like a deep fryer, except is healthier
- Is the best for leftovers!
- My kids love vegetables made in the air fryer – bonus!
Cons:
- Doesn’t work with large batches of food – this is my one true complaint.

How to cook pork chops in air fryer
One of the best things about using an air fryer is how fast everything cooks and how easy it is to whip up recipes. It almost feels like cheating because it’s so easy.
- Rinse pork chops under water and pat dry.
- Rub with olive oil and seasoning. I prefer this Flavor God seasoning.
- Place in air fryer and bake as directed below, flipping once half way through.
This recipe really is that easy but you can change it up by using other spices and dipping sauces. We didn’t eat pork chops all that often growing up but when we did, I always had ketchup to dip it into.
Tip: One of the biggest things with air fryers is to make sure that you don’t overcrowd it. It needs air to flow through in order to cook. Make sure that whatever you cook has plenty of room. Learn how an air fryer works!

Air Fryer Pork Chops
Ingredients
- 3 6 oz pork chops sliced thin
- 2 tsp olive oil other oils can be used
- salt
- pepper
- 1 tsp garlic salt I prefer Flavor God Garlic Lovers seasoning
Instructions
- Rinse pork chops under water and pat dry.
- Rub olive oil over the top and bottom of the pork chops.
- Sprinkle with salt, pepper garlic salt/seasoning.
- Lay in air fryer (without overlapping) and cook at 380 for 10 minutes (depending on thickness of pork chop).
