Watch summer movies with your kids for only $1! Check something off of your summer bucket list.
Years and years ago I found out that our local theater showed movies for free throughout the summer. They have since started charging $1 but it’s still a killer deal. (especially since movies are $14/person in our area!!) We go to Regal Theaters for Summer Movie Express every year. Bonus: they donate a portion of ticket sales to the Will Rogers Institute!
Regal Summer Movies
The movies that they show are older, kid friendly movies. This is perfect for our family because my oldest likes watching movies he’s seen over and over again. And I also don’t feel bad if he can’t hang in there for the full movie, because it’s only $1. While each movie theater varies, Regal shows mainly the same movies (sometimes they are in different order from each other). They have 2 movies each week for 10 weeks. You can go to either movie on Tuesday or Wednesday.

Kids Summer Ideas
Looking for some other ideas to do throughout the summer? I have tons of them. Summer is supposed to be fun and low key, not as scheduled but it doesn’t have to be boring either. Use these ideas to make it a memorable couple of months:

I created a printable to hang our fridge so that we could know which movies were coming up. If you’d like to do the same thing, you can download it:
